Job Overview

Darwin Escapes is seeking a skilled Maintenance and Hot Tub Assistant to join our team at Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat in Cockermouth, Cumbria. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our company buildings and guest accommodation, as well as responding to and completing maintenance requests from guests on site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the maintenance team with the upkeep of company buildings and guest accommodation.
  • Respond to and complete maintenance requests from guests on site.
  • Assist in the completion of any renovation projects or redecoration.
  • Complete any planned daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of all hot tubs on changeover days.
  • Assist with grass cutting and strimming, edging and weeding borders and also clearing pathways.

Requirements:

  • Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
  • A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills is desirable.
  • A driving licence and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use of site buggies/vehicles.
