**Job Description:*

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Needs Education Support Professional to join our team. As an integral part of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping our students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

 

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for pupils with SEND, using your expertise to develop tailored learning strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with class teachers to implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting emotional and behavioral well-being among our students.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, utilizing data-driven insights to inform instruction and make informed decisions.
  • Offer emotional and behavioral support, drawing on your patience, resilience, and calm approach to create a safe and nurturing space.
  • Assist with classroom duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.

 

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience working with children with SEND, showcasing your ability to adapt to diverse needs and circumstances.
  • A strong understanding of different SEND needs, including strategies for supporting students with various requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, resilience, and a calm approach, allowing you to manage challenging situations with confidence and composure.

 

**Benefits:*

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This role also provides opportunities for professional development, allowing you to enhance your skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.

 

**Estimated Salary:** £27,500 per annum
