About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Manager to join our team at REED Specialist Recruitment. As an experienced professional in HSEQ, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, industry standards, and company best practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, has strong communication and IT skills, and is eager to learn and grow within the company. You will work closely with our directors to manage HSEQ processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance services provided to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Environmental Management or equivalent and relevant qualifications in H&S, such as NEBOSH. You will also have excellent IT administration skills and familiarity with all aspects of Health, Safety & Welfare at Work legislation and General and Construction Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Health, Safety, Environment & Quality processes and procedures
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance client services
  • Conduct daily reviews to manage accidents, incidents, and near misses
  • Provide administration support and document control for projects
  • Oversee subcontractor information and manage their safety statements, risk assessments, and insurance documentation
  • Regularly inspect places of work and prepare reports
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and welfare requirements
  • Participate in and contribute to safety training requirements
