Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and committed Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work alongside our skilled team, providing valuable support in the production of technical drawings, calculations, and assessments. You will also be involved in the preparation of technical reports and the solution of challenging engineering issues. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and a strong appreciation of relevant engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of technical drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and REVIT.
  • Support the production of calculations, from scheme design by hand to specific specialist modelling software and 3D finite element analysis and design packages.
  • Contribute to the preparation of assessments and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with the JNP team to solve challenging engineering issues.
  • Liaise with clients, other consultants, and external agencies.
  • Attend site visits and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Be studying a relevant degree to the placement position.
  • Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred, not essential).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software packages (e.g., Excel, Word).

Working Hours and Location:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year. The role is based in person at our office, with opportunities for remote work as needed.
