Job Title: Senior Associate
Location: London, UK
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Financial Control and Accounting team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our financial infrastructure systems and tools. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to deliver financial information in an automated, scalable, and well-controlled manner.

  • Support the Finance SME in executing the Financial Infrastructure roadmap for your workstreams.
  • Build an understanding of the current state of Accounting processes and identify problem statements that require future state solutions.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to clearly articulate Finance requirements, gaps, and inefficiencies through discovery discussions.
  • Define and document future state requirements alongside product and ensure alignment with accounting policies and best practices on controls.
  • Active involvement during the development phase to provide feedback and iterate in a fast and agile manner.
  • Build and execute test and adoption activities for any new implementation and ensure impact to BAU operations are adequately understood and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Maintain granular level project plan for your workstream tracked via the PMO.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 2+ years post-qualification experience in Finance or Accounting roles, with experience in Finance Systems transformation.
  • Proven track record of working on complex cross-functional technology transformation and implementation projects.
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced agile transformation projects ideally within a listed environment of a global financial services or payments/fintech organisation.
