Are you looking for a challenging role that combines order management and production planning? We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Order / Production Planner.
About the Role:
We are a dynamic company that values flexibility and work-life balance. As an Order / Production Planner, you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with 3-4 days a week spent in the office and the remaining days worked remotely. You will be responsible for providing essential support across order management and production planning activities, working closely with a collaborative team to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the customer service inbox for inquiries and new orders, ensuring timely responses.
- Process orders within the SAP system.
- Generate and manage works orders, coordinating closely with production teams, supply chain, and other departments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide clear and timely order acknowledgments to both internal and external customers, and handle customer queries and escalations with professionalism.
- Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and take corrective action to maintain schedules.
- Assist with new product development, introduction, and implementation of design/BOM changes in production to minimize business impact.
- Raise export license applications as needed.
- Track and manage KPIs related to on-time delivery and product lead-times.
- Carry out general administrative tasks, including generating and distributing reports.
Requirements:
- Experience in customer service, order management, or production planning is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience in an office-based and/or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with S&OP, MRP/ERP systems (including SAP), and data analysis tools is beneficial.
