Embedded Software Developer

Flexible Hybrid Working 50/50

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work on the development of next-generation products that meet UK and European sustainability targets. The Chester-based office offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, with the possibility of working from home up to 50% of the time.

The Embedded Software Developer will be part of a small to medium-sized team and contribute to the full design life cycle of next-generation products. Responsibilities will include software development and the use of various skills, such as:

  • C/C++ programming
  • RTOS platforms, including FreeRTOS
  • SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485 protocols
  • Git and SVN

The ideal candidate will have strong industry experience in a similar development role, enjoy working collaboratively, and be keen to make a real impact in the design of industry-leading products. Experience or knowledge of unit testing, Python, and ARM Cortex microcontrollers is highly desirable.
