Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring drama lessons to students of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality drama lessons that cater to the needs of all learners.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a dynamic drama curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
  • Production and Performance: Direct and produce school drama productions and performances.
  • Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to promote the arts within the school community.
  • Feedback and Progress: Provide regular feedback to students and parents on progress and performance.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience: Experience teaching drama at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4, KS5 desirable).
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of drama and theatre pedagogy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for drama and a commitment to fostering students' artistic talents.
