Assets Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assets Manager to join our team at Life Leisure. As an Assets Manager, you will play a key role in the management, coordination, and development of facility operations, maintenance, and contract management across our venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Managers in ensuring the buildings are Health & Safety compliant at all times.
  • Monitor hubs utility consumption and proactively set controls to maintain correct environments, while maintaining energy efficiency.
  • Assist and liaise with contractors to coordinate training for our people, as well as carry out some in-house training where necessary.
  • Oversee that all equipment in current use is in safe working order and that any repairs are actioned promptly via Trackplan / relevant CAFM system.
  • Ensure that all team members with responsibility for customer safety are in possession of and understand HSG179 – Health & Safety in Swimming Pools.
Requirements
  • Experience at a senior management level.
  • Substantial experience organizing suitable access and completion of work with contractors with minimal/no disruption to the programmed service.
  • Experience of working to deadlines and exceeding set targets.
  • Experience in managing budgets and work programmes.
  • Experience of creating and developing partner relationships.
  • Experience of managing a "Responsibility Matrix" alongside the local authority.
  • Experience working with Operation Managers and General Managers setting up "local contracts" which are suitable and sufficient that the assets are being maintained.
  • Experience of leading and managing teams.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience of managing and tracking utility consumption across a complex estate.
  • Quality Assurance.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Leisure Management Experience.
