About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our vibrant and ambitious school in Southampton. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for English and promoting high standards of achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and innovative English Lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners up to across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student's work in line with the curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Contribute to the wider college community through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Requirements
  • A degree or higher in a relevant subject discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching English literature and language across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

£145.00-£205.00 per day
