We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals in North London.

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The schools we work with are easily accessible from around London, with excellent transport links.

You will become part of a highly supportive team with exceptional senior leadership and fantastic resources.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lesson planning and delivery for small groups of students.
  • Helping students develop confidence and independence.
  • Liaising with parents and families regarding students' progress.
  • Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students through awareness of safeguarding policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Early Career Teacher (ECT) experience or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained teacher awaiting QTS.
  • A clear and up-to-date DBS.
  • Experience working with young people with SEN.
  • A patient and caring attitude, with the ability to remain calm and supportive under pressure.
