The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board invites applications for the post of Acute Care Physician in the Emergency Department at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. As a leading healthcare provider in North Wales, we offer a unique opportunity for professionals to develop their careers in a dynamic and challenging environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. You will also be expected to participate in teaching and research activities, contributing to the development of our services and the North Wales School of Medicine and Health.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong clinical skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. A minimum of one year's experience in Emergency Medicine or General Medicine is essential, as well as wide experience in dealing with acute medical emergencies and injuries.

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000-£85,000 per annum, based on experience. Additional benefits include study leave of up to 10 days per year, funded by the hospital, as well as access to APLS, ALS, and ATLS training courses.

Applicants must have a valid MRCEM qualification, be able to demonstrate evidence of ability to communicate effectively in English with patients and Colleagues verbally and in writing, and be prepared to commit to training and development activities.
