About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Coordinator to join our team at PA Housing. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring all property-related compliance services are effectively delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fire Safety and Compliance: Ensure PA Housing's properties meet current Building Regulations, British Standards, ACoPs, and best practice guidelines. This includes the maintenance and servicing of building systems such as lifting equipment, water tanks, sewage stations, pumps, door entry systems, warden call systems, laundry equipment, fall arrest systems, gates and barriers, shared TV aerials, PV/solar panels, and lightning protection.
  • Building Services Management: Utilise the Keystone Service and Inspection module for managing and maintaining all building services, ensuring it is updated with service due dates and component renewal information.
  • Customer Service: Project a positive image of PA Housing by delivering exceptional customer service to all residents.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Building Services team as needed, including scheduling servicing appointments, raising work orders, and assisting with monthly valuations, reconciliations, and payment requests.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: CIPD certification, HNC/HND or equivalent, and experience with housing management systems.
  • Experience: Strong knowledge of building services and property maintenance, understanding of HSE ACoP L8, proficiency in IT systems, familiarity with Health and Safety requirements, and experience working in a Registered Social Landlord (RSL) setting.
  • Skills: Solid administrative skills, experience working within financial parameters and controls, and experience collaborating with and supporting external suppliers to deliver excellent customer service.
