We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to join our dynamic team at LQ Resorts. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests
  • Set up, prepare, and provide service duties for restaurants, functions, and conferences as required
  • Ensure guests are greeted, seated, and provided with menus promptly
  • Respond to guests' requests and queries promptly and effectively, delivering an exceptional service at all times
  • Ensure Food and Beverage departments are ready for service and areas are left ready for the next shift
  • Familiarize yourself with menus and information about our food and beverage offering to answer guests' questions
  • Take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately
  • Deliver food and beverage orders efficiently and safely, ensuring guest expectations are met
  • Set up, clear, and service tables after use to ensure guests can be seated in a timely manner
  • Maintain a good standard of food safety, allergen, and hygiene
  • Ensure food and beverage areas are clean and well-presented at all times, assisting with cleaning and housekeeping duties as required
  • Deal with guest comments in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and expectation at all times
  • Ensure all cash, charge, float, and till procedures are carried out in line with agreed procedures
  • Prepare back-of-house service points with regard to expected numbers for breakfast, lunch, or dinner requirements as necessary
  • Clean and maintain equipment, glassware, crockery, and cutlery
  • Ensure front-of-house and guest areas are well-maintained at all times
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene, including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times
