About the Company

Our company was founded in 2019 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich, with a mission to make plant-based meat alternatives accessible to everyone. Our products are made from plants that are structurally identical to animal meat, but with a significantly lower environmental impact.

About the Role

As a National Sales Development Lead, you will be responsible for building and expanding our key account distribution across the UK. You will leverage relationships with foodservice and industrial players to deliver business opportunities through regional and national wholesalers.

  • You will work closely with the foodservice key account lead to develop strategies for delivering business opportunities.
  • You will identify and cultivate new customers that align with our brand strategy, exploring strategic business opportunities.
  • You will build brand awareness through marketing activation, sampling, and developing customer strategy.
  • You will increase distribution and use of Planted products across all foodbuy sectors through networking, site visits, events, and cooking demonstrations with chefs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of driving sales growth in a similar role. A strong understanding of the foodservice industry and its trends is essential.

The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
