Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Wincanton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and put away inventory in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure all special instructions related to material handling and storage are adhered to, including shelf life, FIFO, and hazardous materials
  • Perform pick, pack, and presentation tasks in line with company procedures
  • Complete necessary administration and paperwork accurately
  • Operate customer and Wincanton IT systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and RF guns
  • Good understanding of inventory management principles and practices
  • Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Polite and professional manner
