About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Science Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students in schools in and around Northampton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students in Science, up to A-level standard
  • Plan and prepare lessons to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals

Requirements

  • Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Qualification in Science or experience teaching the subject
  • 2+ years teaching secondary students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Good knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Ability to teach Science up to A-level standard
  • A child-only enhanced DBS (or prepared to apply for one)
  • Full-time availability
