Reliability Maintenance Engineering Professional

In this critical role as a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of Amazon's complex infrastructure. With a focus on innovation and efficiency, you will work closely with our RME team to maintain and upgrade equipment performance across the EU network.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of complex systems, supervising technicians on shift, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will also work closely with your line manager to assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the development of new processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and effective equipment performance through regular checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks
- Supervise and support the development of technicians on shift, acting as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers
- Identify and implement improvements to systems and standardize processes across the EU network
Requirements
- Served a full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject
- Relevant experience working in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Amazon offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
