Chef - Line Cook

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join our team at Away Resorts. As a key member of our Kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to our high standards, ensuring that every dish meets our exacting specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for consistent and prompt food preparation, ensuring all meals meet our high standards
- Help the team to comply with agreed specifications of all dishes, ensuring correct portion sizes are followed and waste is closely managed
- Ensure safe, clean, hygienic, and tidy workspaces within the kitchen, always complying with all food hygiene and safety regulations
- Help to control food margins through effective stock management, knowledge of product specifications, and team coaching
- Level Two Hygiene Certificate
- 1-2 years' experience working as a line cook, commis chef, or chef de partie
- Exceptional communication skills
- Good organisation skills and able to identify and solve problems
- A real passion for food and bags of enthusiasm
- Resilience under pressure
