About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Assessor to join our team at Maven Group Ltd. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals understand how their disability or health condition affects their daily life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to gather information about their disability or health condition
  • Use your expertise to produce accurate and comprehensive reports to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining eligibility for benefits
  • Work collaboratively with clients to understand their experiences and needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders

Requirements
  • An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or a HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic with 1 year's or more broad post-registration experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health

No experience as a PIP Disability Assessor is required, as full training will be provided. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, keen to learn, and passionate about delivering high-quality care and support.
