Project Manager - Infrastructure

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering major multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to construction on our expanding portfolio of the biggest and most challenging projects across all Market Sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects to agreed targets, including programme, budget, and quality.
  • Identify and agree project objectives and develop a strategy for achieving these.
  • Manage potential contractual and commercial risks to AtkinsRéalis.
  • Lead the project team, building, motivating, and developing the team.
  • Facilitate communication, coordination, and information flow with the Client and within the project team.
  • Agree commercial trading arrangements and communication plans with other teams.
  • Assemble and own the project delivery programme and delivery plans.
  • Protect the commercial interest of AtkinsRéalis, including timely and accurate invoicing and effective credit control.
  • Closing out the project on completion, archiving project documentation, and ensuring lessons learnt are captured and disseminated internally.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer or Architect with experience managing design, build, and/or operate commissions on large infrastructure projects.
  • Market sector experience across Water Infrastructure, Rail, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Urban Development projects.
  • Hard working and flexible individual with great attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team and demonstrate good leadership qualities.
  • Experience in deploying various forms of construction contract, particularly NEC3 or 4.
  • Familiar with BIM and 3D modelling tools for design and coordination purposes.
  • Customer focused with excellent client relationship management skills.
