About the Role

This is a client-facing position that requires a Senior Principal Designer to carry out duties in accordance with the Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA). The successful candidate will work with Housing Association and Local Authority clients, taking the lead in planning, managing, monitoring, and coordinating health & safety across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 4-5 years of practical experience, ideally in a consultancy setting
  • Professional qualification in designing, building surveying, or building services discipline (desirable)
  • Membership of an approved membership body (IMaPs/GradIOSH or higher and NEBOSH National Certificate preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of CDM Regulations
  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety and Building Regulations within the construction industry and on-site experience
