As a key member of the Market Talent Limited team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a structured end-to-end independent review process for the Credit Approval Unit. This will involve developing and monitoring key performance metrics related to risk mitigation, review quality, and efficient processing of credit proposals.

You will be responsible for objectively assessing and approving credit proposals within delegated authority, identifying key risk issues and providing reasoned conclusions.

Additionally, you will coordinate and participate in Credit Committee meetings, including organizing meetings, minuting decisions, and managing approvals through circulation when necessary.

You will also review and update credit policies and procedures in line with Group requirements, industry trends, and regulatory updates.

Furthermore, you will take ownership of internal and external reporting requirements related to the monitoring of credit facilities.

Finally, you will provide timely and accurate information to external and internal auditors and the compliance function as required.

", "Experience and Qualifications": "

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in credit application review and transaction management within the UK, with a focus on corporate, SME, and Real Estate / BTL banking products.

You will also need to be proficient in Excel spreadsheets and database tools.

Knowledge of Emerging Markets SMEs, business models, market and industry trends is preferred.

Experience with workout knowledge for problematic corporate accounts is desirable.

You will also need to have a good understanding of BASEL, PRA, and FCA risk guidelines, calculations, and policy adherence.

Finally, you will need to have previous proven experience of leading teams.
