EHS Specialist

Job Title: Asset Safety Officer

Job Summary:

The Asset Safety Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Runnings Road site in Cheltenham, ensuring legal compliance and certification through continuous improvement of EHS performance and providing advice to colleagues across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and assist managers and colleagues in the operation of the company EHS management systems in accordance with ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO50001 to achieve objectives.
• Assist the EHS team with the completion of the Group EHS Excellence Framework.
• Support and approve the risk assessment process.
• Conduct routine EHS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and agree on actions and timelines for improvement.
• Analyze and report on trends and KPIs, providing constructive solutions and presenting options to senior management.
• Liaise and support with regulatory and certification bodies for third-party inspections/audits.
