About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring that their dietary needs are met and their experience is exceptional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage food inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Chef Manager to develop menus and improve catering services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident feedback and concerns.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, supporting colleagues and promoting a culture of respect and empathy.

Requirements

  • Level 2 food safety certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a catering or food service environment, with knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
