Project Overview
The USAID-funded Critical Infrastructure Digitalization and Resilience (CIDR) program supports the Governments of Eastern Europe in assisting critical infrastructure entities to incorporate cybersecurity best practices into organizational operations, planning, and procurement. The program targets sectors such as energy, water, transport, healthcare, finance, and telecommunications.
Key Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity for critical infrastructure, including industrial control systems (ICS) and asset, supply chain, and overall cybersecurity risk management.
- Establishing and implementing policies, regulatory frameworks, and coordination bodies necessary to advance cybersecurity of critical infrastructure.
- Incident management and response.
- Threat intelligence analysis and sharing.
- Information security audits and penetration testing.
- Cybersecurity awareness and hygiene among organizations and the public.
- Digital transformation.
- Cybersecurity workforce development in coordination with higher education institutions, the public and private sectors, and other partners.
- Closing the gender gap in cybersecurity.
- Regional coordination and information sharing on cybersecurity threats.
- Smart cities and Internet of things (IoT).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in the related field.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of the Eastern European languages preferred, including Russian.
- Prior experience with USAID funded projects preferred.
- Knowledge of US Government and USAID regulations and policies preferred.
- Experience in the region; prior experience in Eastern Europe and Eurasia preferred.
