Job Title: Cyber Detect Service Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to lead our Cyber Detect Service, accountable for detecting activities, quality, and delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with NMC services for seamless integration and maximizing outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Cyber Detect Service, ensuring high-quality detection activities.
  • Collaborate with NMC services to achieve efficient and robust service delivery.
  • Responsible for the value and efficiency of the service and the team working within it.
  • Accountable for the evolution and development of the PM service.
  • Responsible for quality of the PM service and contribute to custom tooling design and delivery.
  • Collaborate with other NMC services for seamless integration.
  • Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders to represent and deliver the performance and value of the Cyber Detect Team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational security environment.
  • Experience in driving and motivating a team.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
  • Experience working in a Security environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes.
  • Knowledge of commonly deployed Cyber Security tools and products.
  • Ability to apply processes to incidents and investigations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanour.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Familiar with the use of SIEM technology.
