We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Assistant to join our team at Warings Furniture. As a key member of our workshop team, you will play a vital role in supporting our upholsterers in the creation of high-quality furniture pieces.
Key Responsibilities- Assist upholsterers in the preparation and cutting of materials, including foam and fabric.
- Operate power tools, such as glue guns, screwdrivers, and handsanders, with precision and care.
- Contribute to the manual handling and storage of materials and finished products.
- Take accurate measurements and maintain a high level of numeracy skills.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team or independently, depending on the project requirements.
- Meet production deadlines and manage workload effectively under pressure.
- Manual handling knowledge and experience.
- Ability to work with power tools and equipment.
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
