Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Haemophilia Specialist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a designated comprehensive care centre caring for adults and children with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality care for patients with various bleeding disorders, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • To serve as a point of contact for patients and their families/carers, providing information, education, and support throughout their treatment journey.
  • To make autonomous clinical decisions regarding patient assessment, care planning, and review.
  • To work effectively with other healthcare professionals, offering advice and support while utilizing sound clinical reasoning skills to refer to specialists/colleagues when needed.
  • To coordinate clinical and support services to deliver a seamless and expert nursing service.
Key Qualifications and Experience
  • NMC registration with no practice restrictions.
  • A Master's level 7 qualification or working towards it.
  • Experience in caring for patients with long-term conditions.
  • Relevant experience within haemophilia or haematology.
  • Evidence of effective clinical decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently with a patient caseload without supervision.
Estimated Salary

£45,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
