About the Job

Ethero Careers is seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing processes. With a focus on maintenance and repair, you'll play a critical role in keeping our equipment in top condition.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical disciplines, preferably with City & Guilds level 3 qualifications. They'll also have substantial experience in a similar role within manufacturing, with a proven track record of delivering results. In return, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate of £40,000 - £42,000 p.a., plus benefits such as medical, pension and life assurance.

The Job Description

As an Equipment Specialist at Ethero Careers, your key responsibilities will include attending breakdowns, identifying faults and providing problem-solving solutions. You'll report root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management, assist with moving and repositioning machines, and undertake special projects as required. You'll work a 2-shift pattern, covering 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, and be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a multi-skilled engineer (bias to electrical) with a strong background in maintenance and repair. You'll need to be flexible and willing to work on rotating shifts, with a practical hands-on approach to problem-solving.
