Childcare Director

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Childcare Director to lead our fostering services team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve child outcomes and foster carer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Recruit, train, and supervise foster carers to ensure they provide high-quality care and support to children.
• Work closely with local authorities and other stakeholders to promote the agency and increase recruitment opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with foster carers, providing support and guidance to ensure they feel valued and supported.

Requirements

This role requires a professional Social Work qualification or equivalent, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary that reflects the importance of this role in supporting vulnerable children and families.
