Breakdown Customer Care and Sales Specialist

The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Breakdown Customer Care and Sales Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, providing guidance and explanations, and processing mid-term adjustments and cancellations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a friendly and helpful service, displaying a passion for customer service and a commitment to excellence.
- Work under pressure, adapting to new processes and procedures set by the business and advising on any necessary actions.
- Process mid-term adjustments and cancellations on existing policies, collect payments for amendments or missed direct debit payments, and solve customer queries throughout the life of their policy.
- Provide training and coaching when required, quote and close new business enquiries, build and maintain long-standing client relationships, and retain existing clients at renewal.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional products that may suit a particular customer's needs and work towards individual targets.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to empathise and successfully deal with difficult customers.
- Ability to work under pressure, with excellent organisational skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
