Role Overview:
Educators Wales seeks a dedicated Lead Youth Worker - Young People to provide support services to vulnerable young individuals. This role involves working with young people in various settings, identifying and tracking those at risk of disengagement, and delivering lead worker support to engage them in education, employment, or training opportunities.

Key Requirements:
Relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (e.g., Youth and Community Work, Community Development, Criminal Justice, Early Years, Education, Teaching, Social Work).
An understanding of contributory factors leading to disengagement in young people.
Excellent communication skills to engage the hardest to reach young people.

Working Arrangements:
This fixed-term contract until March 2025 offers 37 or 25 hours per week. The role is based at Virginia Park Youth Centre, Caerphilly, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a vibrant community setting.
