The school is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher to join their dedicated faculty in a full-time permanent position. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's dynamic English department, inspiring the next generation of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and rigorous English lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the English department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of English.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in English or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary level.

Remuneration:

  • A competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £60,000 per annum, reflecting your experience and qualifications, aligned with the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
