Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Rail Sector

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client's cutting-edge project at Old Oak Common, West London. As a Mechanical Engineer - Rail Sector, you will play a key role in the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems within the rail infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and lead all mechanical engineering aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
* Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems within the rail infrastructure.
* Conduct regular site inspections, reviewing work for quality control and adherence to technical specifications.
* Provide expert guidance on mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and other essential services.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer within the rail and building services industry is essential.
* Strong knowledge of UK mechanical engineering standards and rail-specific codes.
* Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contractors.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with teams and stakeholders.
* Availability to work in the office 3-4 days per week.
