Job Purpose: As an Apprentice Surveyor, you will play a key role in the Valuation team, working on a variety of large and small properties throughout the south west region. Your duties will include:



  • Shadowing chartered and graduate surveyors
  • Assisting on site inspections, including photography and measuring buildings
  • Setting up new instructions
  • Supporting on valuation work, including collecting and interrogating evidence to support valuations
  • Where experience allows, assisting in valuation calculations
  • General assistance in department and office administration
  • Attending training and CPD events to support your learning
  • Networking opportunities

Training and Development: You will receive comprehensive training and coaching through shadowing, 1-1 coaching, attending relevant training courses, and CPD events. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through e-learning and online resources.


Qualifications and Requirements: For standard entry applicants, you must have obtained 96 UCAS tariff points or have an equivalent level of attainment through recognised qualifications. Alternatively, you may have completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying or have a RICS Associate qualification (AssocRICS). A driver's license is essential.
