Graduate Geotechnical Engineer Role

A highly respected geology, mineral planning and quarry design consultancy based near Oxford is seeking an ambitious Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their expanding team.

This esteemed consultancy offers a range of services and projects to work on, along with a team of specialists to support the successful candidate's career development.

Job Responsibilities

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for carrying out various tasks, including logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, factual and interpretive report writing, desktop studies, designing foundations, slope stability, and retaining walls.

This role requires focused work on multiple projects, providing opportunities for growth and professional development.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A degree in geoscience, engineering geology, geotechnical or civil engineering, or environmental engineering (or a similar/relevant subject).
  • Experience as a geotechnical engineer/engineering geologist (preferred but not essential).
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Be commutable to the Oxford area.
  • Hold a full right to work in the UK.
