About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative professional to join our team as an Associate Lecturer for Simulation and Clinical Skills. As a key member of our nursing and midwifery education team, you will play a significant role in the delivery of our nursing and midwifery portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development and delivery of simulated practice learning and skills education curriculum for the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Design and deliver high-quality, innovative teaching and learning material, informed by research and professional practice.
  • Assist with the design, preparation, and facilitation of clinical assessments, including practical assessments for the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Coordinate the simulation and skills session tutor allocation according to the planned sessions on a rotational basis with wider members of the Faculty's clinical skills and simulation team.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality simulation and skills teaching to our students. You will have an effective communication and leadership style, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to organise and prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure and without direct supervision.

To be successful, you will further enrich our students' experience through your expertise and subject knowledge as evidenced through your qualifications and extensive experience of professional practice.
