Job Title: Hospital Staff Nurse

The Acute Medical Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is a fast-paced environment that requires a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care. As a Hospital Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering holistic nursing care to patients with acute medical conditions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the principles of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and Trust Policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Liaise with the Patient and Liaison Service (PALS) on patient care issues and contribute to the continuous development of the clinical area.
  • Comply with the complaints procedure of the Trust and promptly report incidents or accidents involving patients, visitors, or staff.
Person Specification:
  • Registered Nurse with the UK NMC
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
  • Relevant experience of looking after patients in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a confident and calm attitude under pressure
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide holistic nursing care
