About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Commercial Heating Specialist to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our low-carbon heating team, you'll play a crucial role in driving the global renewable energy revolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain low-carbon heating systems, including air source heat pumps, in customers' homes.
  • Collaborate with our Low Carbon Heating Support Engineer to ensure seamless installation and commissioning of heat pumps.
  • Review and contribute to technical specifications and mechanical drawings to ensure high-quality installations.
  • Work closely with electricians to commission air source heat pumps and ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Utilize your expertise in heating system design and fault-finding to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the installation of boilers and heat pumps.
  • Knowledge of heating system design, fault-finding, and domestic hot and cold water systems.
  • Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points).
  • Desirable qualifications include WRAS Water Supply Regs, Gas safe certification, UHW10/HWSS, or BPEC L3 heat pump installation.
  • Overtime and on-call opportunities available.
