  3. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and line manage a team of developers, ensuring high levels of engagement and empowerment to deliver excellent work.
  • Collaborate with other Development Team Leads to drive performance and engagement throughout the development teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure sound application design and quality practices.
  • Engage with customers to provide technical consultation and guidance, working closely with Business Development Managers, Business Analysts, and Account Managers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience, with expertise in C#, SQL, XSLT, Web API, MVC, and .NET Framework.
  • Experience in designing and implementing services using WCF or other service-oriented technologies.
  • Excellent Object-Oriented design skills, including knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Experience in managing, leading, or coaching team members, and providing technical guidance to other developers.
  • Understanding of business operations and commercial decisions, with experience in continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated integration testing.
  • Ability to operate independently within defined methodologies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • BSc in Computer Science or a related field, with excellent communication skills and experience working closely with external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with MS SQL Server 2019.
  • Experience with messaging systems, such as RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform development.
  • Experience with Change Management processes.
  • Experience with writing high-performance software, including threading and async IO.
  • Knowledge of the airline industry, reservation systems, and travel industry.
