Housekeeping Team Leader Job Description

Salary: £13.50 Per Hour

Park Plaza London Park Royal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team. As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of Housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that all rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure that all necessary cleaning supplies are available.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Housekeeping or hospitality role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred
