Software Development Manager Opportunity

Join MCS Group, a leading global company at the forefront of software development for industry and manufacturing, in Derry/Londonderry. We are seeking a skilled software development manager to build out a new R+D team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical leadership of a brand new SaaS product, overseeing architecture, design, and development.
  • Managing a strong team of C#.Net developers, providing guidance on overall architecture, design, and development.
  • Providing constructive feedback to the team, ensuring they follow best coding standards.
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in software development.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years in a software development manager/team lead role.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of the.NET framework and associated technologies.
  • Experience working with Azure or AWS.
  • Proficiency in front-end development technologies, ideally Angular or React.
  • Experience with database technologies, such as SQL Server or Oracle.
