About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team at TQR. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements and implementing lean manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Identify and analyze machine setups for potential improvement opportunities, and implement lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to collaborate on improvement projects, and manage and track project progress.
  • Educate and train employees on continuous improvement principles and practices, and foster a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in key lean manufacturing tools such as SMED, 5S, Kanban, and Kaizen.
  • Proven history of continuous improvement and successful project implementation, with a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
