Counter Fraud Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Counter Fraud Specialist to join our Internal Audit and Counter Fraud Team at Kent County Council. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Council's response to fraud and error.

Reporting to the Counter Fraud Manager, you will work closely with key clients to mitigate the risk of fraud and error through proactive and reactive work programmes.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with experience of completing investigations at a civil and criminal standard. A background in audit or compliance is desirable, as is the ability to interpret complex guidance and data sets.
Kent County Council offers a competitive salary of approximately £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
