About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IPAF Training Instructor to join our team at Nationwide Platforms, the UK's leading specialist provider of Powered Access rental equipment. As a Training Instructor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training to our customers and internal teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely at height.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver IPAF training courses to delegates across the region, with extensive travel to multiple sites.
  • Be an ambassador for quality health and safety, ensuring the well-being of customers and employees.
  • Ensure all courses meet the criteria required by external awarding bodies.
  • Drive compliance of paperwork and upload to governing bodies as required.
  • Provide training at the required standards of the business and external bodies.
  • Direct leads to relevant sales teams.
  • Prepare and deliver training as required.
  • Assist with formal audits and verification as needed.
  • Assist with planning and arrangements as required.
  • Undertake training assessments and complete documentation within service level agreements.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accessible training records.
  • Compile and complete a record demonstrating a minimum of 30 hours Continuing Professional Development.
  • Complete, store, and handle paperwork in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Identify and promote best practice in training and assessment delivery.
  • Promote positive working relationships with customers, line managers, and candidates.
About You
  • IPAF instructor qualification preferred.
  • Alternatively, you may be an experienced IPAF operator looking to move into instructional training.
  • Driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible with travel.
