About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Management Accountant to join our Finance team at NCC Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to senior stakeholders, preparing financial information, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key point of contact for the delivery of information to external auditors and internal audit teams.
  • Assist in preparing information for population in RNS and Annual Report and Accounts.
  • Prepare UK subsidiary statutory accounts for 17 entities.
  • Assist with the preparation of audit papers for year-end and interim audits.
  • Own the accounting for share-based payments under IFRS 2.
  • Support technical accounting matters through ad-hoc project work.
  • Develop and implement processes for the allocation of management recharges.
  • Prepare the Group Consolidation and maintain consolidation journals.
  • Develop a Group consolidation checklist to ensure accuracy and improve efficiency.
  • Implement the checklist and investigate and clear any matters identified.
  • Assist in developing a process for accurate month-end reconciliation of inter-group balances.
  • Implement and govern the process.
  • Support the Group Assistant Management Accountant and Group Finance Manager with other month-end tasks.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with excellent technical accounting skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a large company environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with local finance representatives and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Eye for detail and ability to get things right first time.
