Safety Technician - Fall Protection Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Technician - Fall Protection Systems to carry out maintenance and product training for a range of fall protection systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation and maintenance of fall protection systems, with a focus on ensuring the highest level of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance and product training for fall protection systems
  • Test and certify site equipment to ensure it is fit for use
  • Produce reports and photos of failed systems to enable quoting of replacement parts/systems
  • Conduct on-site product training to operators and installers
  • Deliver toolbox talks for safe working at height
  • Assist with proactive on-site sales and lead generation
  • Monitor installation teams and ensure safety procedures are followed
  • Carry out installations and repairs of systems where required
Requirements
  • Must have Maths and English GSCE qualifications
  • Full UK driving license, held for 1+ years
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Ideal candidate will hold a valid CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness
  • Must be personable and provide excellent customer service
  • Must have experience with health and safety
  • Organised, with high attention to detail and good time management skills
