About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our team at GB Global, specializing in commercial motor claims. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims, ensuring efficient and accurate processing, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial motor claims, including motor damage, credit hire, and injury claims.
  • Handle claims from first notification to settlement, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
  • Assess fraud, quantum, and liability, making informed decisions based on available evidence and policy terms.
  • Manage cases through litigation, working closely with legal teams to ensure effective case management.
  • Liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, brokers, suppliers, claimants, and their representatives.
  • Utilize multiple means of communication, such as phone and email, to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing overall claims handling efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills.
About You
  • Good understanding of proactive claims handling.
  • A base understanding of insurance principles.
  • Experience of handling motor damage and credit hire claims.
  • Working knowledge and experience of handling OICP and MOJ Portal Claims.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Willingness to take referrals from less experienced members of staff.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
