We're looking for a skilled Disability Allowance Assessor to join our team and contribute to the assessment process for claimants of the Government's disability allowance (Personal Independence Payment).
As a Functional Assessor, you will work closely with our team to ensure that every claimant receives a fair and unbiased assessment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed assessments of claimants' health conditions or disabilities.
- Analyse and interpret medical information to support your findings.
What You'll Receive
Enjoy a competitive starting salary of £38,500 per annum (pro rata for part-time), rising to £39,900 plus up to 10% bonus upon achieving remote approved status and £41,500 plus up to 10% bonus upon achieving face-to-face delivery.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of one year's experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other).
- Excellent communication and observation skills.
- The ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
- Proficiency in using IT and Microsoft Office, including MS Teams.
